Of Absence, Grief and Absolutes – Lisa Aleong

This installation is an inquiry into grief. There is a distinct but intangible space between us and those who died. For me, it is in that intangible space that grief resides. Through a combination of photography and sculptural work, I have forced myself to confront and explore grief as a empty space filled with regret, sadness and subconscious denial.
